How do you change the texting mode on the Samsung Behold?

I have the samsung behold and I hate the way that little box with words show up when you are texting. If you have the answer please answer it.How do you change the texting mode on the Samsung Behold?at the bottom of the screen is a little box that says T9 off, touch thatHow do you change the texting mode on the Samsung Behold?Like Tom said....just press that little box....but what sucks is that EVERY time you go to text...u have to keep clicking that box!
