How can I put music from computer on my samsung mobile?

I just got a new samsung mobile, my old samsung was much easier because I just plugged the usb cable in and then it showed up on windows media player and then I can go on sync but it is not working with my new one im not sure why. I installed the 'Samsung New PC Studio' disc that came with it. Does anyone know what is wrong? Is it the settings on the phone like where it says 'PC Connections' ?How can I put music from computer on my samsung mobile?my old phone did that. i couldn't get it to work. but i bought one of them bluetooth usb things they are so simple to use i would recommend one. they are around about 5 or 10 quid
