What should i do to get the best picture on a samsung led 8000 series?

I recently bought a samsung led 8000 series tv , and got an hdmi cable with it. I noticed that the picture still had noise on it and i know that that type of tv has the best picture quality of any other tv , but i dont know how to set it to its maximun picture quality. Any ideas?What should i do to get the best picture on a samsung led 8000 series?I believe turning down the brightness should reduce "noise".
