How to lower the power of the vibrate on the samsung intensity?

I just recently got the samsung intensity and i have the vibrate function for when i receive texts. the only problem is when its on a hard surface the vibrate scares the crap out of me. I guess in some cases that would be good but im looking to see if there is any way to make the vibration setting less powerful?How to lower the power of the vibrate on the samsung intensity?I don't think so. I''ve had my Intensity for almost a year now and I still have problems with that too. I would look in the manual or call Verizpon and see.
