How do I transfer text messages off of a Samsung Alias 2 cellphone?

I would like to save the messages in my Samsung Alias 2 phone, but not forward them as there are hundreds of texts. Is there anything I can do to transfer them to the SD card or should I purchase the USB cord? What would the USB cord do for me and how would I use it?



Thanks,How do I transfer text messages off of a Samsung Alias 2 cellphone?it depends on how the text messages are saved to the phone, if they are saved to the phones internal memory then a usb cord would work fine. all you would have to do is hook the usb up to the computer and the cell phone go into the cell phones files and look for something like messages or saved text. once you find this you can make a file on your computer and copy from the cell phone to that file and then they are saved on your computer.

if you have a memory card in the phone sometimes the phone will save the text to that card and you can do the same this as you would with a usb only you would have to get a card reader that connects to your computer to view the files in it
