Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?

I was wondering why the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries..Is it because it takes up so much power or just because?Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?Actually, they are saying the battery life is really good.



They did it to take a stab at the iPhone, which only has one, and is not removable by consumers.Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?
As James C stated it's because the Iphone does not have a removable battery. The battery life on the instinct is really good, but it's nice to know you have a back up just in case. Plus the Instinct comes with a cradle for the 2nd battery that can be charged.

Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?I just took my Instinct up to an area where there isn't Sprint coverage (just roam) I was using it to call people, watch TV, surf the web, and text for two days before it died. And then I had the backup battery ready to go! It was amazing. My old phone would have been dead in less than a day.

Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?
I have the Instinct and I never used the second battery. Only time the battery is really drained is when I use it to play TV and Music all day long.

Why does the samsung instinct come with 2 batteries?It needs the second battery. Once you get into the internet, music, tv, and radio options, forget it. You'll want it.
