What is a better camcorder for video editing, panasonic samsung or canon?

I'm 15 and I love video editing I have recently bought a samsung HMX H200 to do all my major projects (e.g. Greenscreen effects) for school and assignments, is it a good camcorder for all my video work or is there a difference between the video camcorders? Thanks, btw I also bought the samsung because it had a good price. What is a better camcorder for video editing, panasonic samsung or canon?there is a difference between every camcorder. Which is best is highly subjective. i have seen great work done with inexpensive camcorders and crappy work done with expensive equipment. Cameras are highly personal tools. Some prefer the look one camera creates compared to others even though the features are often similar. The question you may consider asking is "does this camera do wha ti need it to do?" If the answer is yes, our answers don't matter. if the answer is no, then you may want to determine if it is due to specific shortcomings of the camera or your lack of experience. i am a big proponent of getting the most out of whatever you have. If you already have a samsung, practice to get the very best you can from it before looking elsewhere. So many people fall into the trap of thinking that constantly changing gear will improve their projects when it's the opposite. mastering what you do have will give you a better foundation for when you are ready to upgrade. When you do upgrade, make it a major upgrade and not just a similar camera of a different brand. What is a better camcorder for video editing, panasonic samsung or canon?Panasonic SV AV100, Canon MOD Camcorders, JVC (MOD and TOD)
