How do i transfer media on Samsung galaxy ace?

When i bought the phone it self loaded with the computer and i could drag music into the box labelled my phone. I had my computer cleaned and now when i plug in it won't load. I have down loaded kies which is suppose to be the programme that works and still won't transfer. Also got a memory card adapter and Samsung are saying it won't work and have to use usb cable but both don't work. Please help.How do i transfer media on Samsung galaxy ace?when you plug it in, on the phone click storage mode
