Math Word Problems!!!?

You go to imos to get a pizza on a thursday night. You see that an 8 inch pizza costs $7.00. Keeping the price per square inch constant, how much should a 16 inch pizza cost?Math Word Problems!!!?
??????A = π ? R2 ?= π ? D2 ? 4

where A is the area

???R is the radius

???D is the diameter

The numbers you gave are probably diameter numbers but it doesn't even matter.

If you double the radius or you double the diameter the resulting area is 4X as big,

or (2)2 = 4.

and so:??4 ? $7.00 = $28.00Math Word Problems!!!?
you have to compare the square inch area of each to the cost of each

area of a circle is Pi x radius x radius. Pi is the funny to upright lines with a wiggle on top

pi is a number. nobody knows exactly what it is but is is known to mare decimal places than you can count. pi = almost 3.14 == 3.1416 ====3.14159.....

when you do ratios; A of 8 inch to Area of 16 inch the pi will cancel out

should the price double to 17$ because the radius is double? The baker has to use ingrediatents to cover the bigger area.Math Word Problems!!!?
you have to find the area. which is A = (pie)r^2 . . .im not sure how to do the pie symbol so yeah.

8 is the diameter. so 4 is the radius.

PIE X 4^2

so the area is 16(pie) which is about 50.27

then you divide 7 by 50.27 which is about .14 dollars ber inch

the area of a 16 inch one is 201.06

then multiply that by .14.

it is about 28.15

this means it is it would cost about 28.15

you might want to make it more exact with more decimals. depending on how picky ur teacher is.
